Paignton Dragons have produced many players over the years, check out the legends who made it into the prestigious 'Hall of Fame'...

Originally making his name as a netminder back in the day of ball hockey, Neil 'Big Man' Beasley had to switch to playing out on pitch after his knees refused to stop popping out of their sockets and kit manufacturers refused to make leg pads in his size!!

All was not lost though as his passion for the sport, leadership qualities and reputation as one of the jokers of the team lead to him being selected as club captain from 2003-2008, winning the league a few times and competing in the Bipha Nationals during his reign.

Neil Beasley

Mark 'Beef' Beasley also made his name back in the day of ball hockey...but not for preventing goals...for scoring them! As a youngster Mark was a lean, mean, scoring machine, who topped many goal scoring charts.

His later days were spent playing in defense as his 'extra beef' allowed him to issue crushing blows to any forward skating with his head down...even in training!! He never lost his ability to score goals, mid-game you would find him in the slot but if the puck didn't arrive you wouldn't find him chasing back, he left that to his trusty defense parnter 'Dunster'.

Mark Beasley

Russell Smith was one of the club's greatest all time players, fantastic natural ability and flair combined with a knack for scoring hundreds of goals! Unfortunately never making the transition from quads to inline but he still played a key role in developing the talent of the Pee Wee teams.

Russell was a member of the notorious Dragon's Junior Team which won the league a number of times and competed in tournaments abroad. He was also a member of the 'Bauer Turbo' crew, sporting a pair of possibly the best quads ever made!
